US East Coast Road Trip(May 2006)
New York(Big Apple) Back after a great vacation this month! I took off to the East Coast after an hectic schedule at Work(California), it was a much needed break from the rigours of work. Flying to East Coast, from the west is reasonably cheap if you book the late night JETBLUE Flight a little in advance.I flew out of San Jose and reached JFK Airport, NY early Saturday morning. My cousin picked me up at JFK airport. Met him after a decade and somehow it didn't seem that it was such a long time !! Geographically, New York is a city with 5 boroughs :The Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn,Manhattan, The Staten Island I packed up my ruck sack and hit the road by bus after a day's rest at NY. My first stop was NY City .The view from the 102nd floor of the Empire State Building was spectacular. The building was constructed in record time in May 1931 and was celebrating its 75th anniversary. Went across to Wall Street , and was at the steps of the NYSE !! Caught a glimpse of the Statue of Libe
