Another wonderful road trip with mum to coonoor. It was raining most of the way and our stay at WGC was beautiful.. Took a bit of effort to take these pics with umbrella in one hand .. More here: Riot of Colours

I guess one just needs an excuse to take the car out of the city and into the wild.. With mum visiting had planned a trip to Masinagudi with her. My second trip in two weeks :) Good music, mostly good roads and lovely cloudy morning , we hit the tarmac. We drove throw some lovely stretches of small towns, green fields and water bodies and then the forests of bandipur and mudumalai and reached our destination, Masinagudi for lunch .  Had a wonderful two days there , meeting some real experts in the field of wildlife and charming hosts, experimenting with my new camera and just soaking up the green and peaceful surroundings.         More pics here : Masinagudi June

Life was getting a little mundane and I wanted to head out somewhere peaceful last weekend. Found out about this really nice place near BR Hills and decided to spend a Sunday there.. Its only 200kms from Bangalore and a good easy drive that I did it 4.5hrs. Lovely roads, good music and another solo trip down to the forest and back.
