On the Road Again:Kabini
It has been more than a decade since I had been to Kabini with mum. However, with tiger sightings a few weeks back at Bandipur, thought of heading out to Kabini. I was hoping to see some big cats and maybe leapord this time around. Lovely road and took about 4hrs drive to reach Kabini from Bangalore in my black stallion Some pics from the trip: More here

Took the black stallion out on a long drive last weekend and caught some lovely birds (some for the first time) Route taken: Nice Road -NH4 to Haliyal-Kalaghatagi Rd in Kalghatgi Follow Haliyal-Kalaghatagi Rd and SH 28 to Ganeshgudi Time taken: 7hrs Stay: Spotless clean dormitory at Jungle Lodges and really friendly staff. I had a small camera but rest of the folks had huge bazookas, nothing less than 600mm. More Birds pics here
