Two Wheels-Route 1
Ever since I got myself a GIANT RINCON 2007 couple of months back have been thinking of making it a regular part of my life, but work and other activities hasn't made that happen. However, there was this sudden urge and a talk with a few colleagues at work and 3 of us hit the road .. Have been cycling couple of times a week since the past few weeks..
Cycling is one of those first thrills as a child where one discovers the freedom, independence and the speed ... Reminds me of those good old days when we would wait for the vacation and cycle around the town , thankfully i was lucky enough to be away from the chaotic city traffic.
Rincon, is a wonderful bike and there is no better feeling than coming down a trail/road at a high speed with only the fresh morning chill around you !!
The usual route we take is :
IIMB - BannerGhatta National Park
Distance - 11kms (one way)
Time - It takes 1 hour 30 minutes for to-n-fro journey
Route condition - Excellent
Traffic condition - Very sparse before 7.30AM. Ideal time to start is 6-6.30.
Number of difficult ups - 2 (one before Meenakshi temple and the other just before reaching BannerGhatta)
