Here's my first attempt at creating a movie using Picasa Movie Maker from pics taken during my backpacking trip across Egypt and Turkey .

In 2007 I too visited some of the places in Turkey and Egypt. These places are known as the cradle of civilization of the world. There are so many places and monuments in our own country which we donot visit. Even the scientific achivements of our country whether in mathematics or astronomy or take "nadi Jyotisha" are amazing. It is said the British people took away our priceless booksin Sanskrit and what we know is only a fraction. well , there is so much to see and also know about our world. China is also an ancient culture. I am hoping to visit it in near future.

I am sure you will enjoy China and I guess travel and photography is something thats in my genes (from your side :) if I could say so). Also my trip to Egypt and Turkey was inspired by your earlier trip to those places and the books you left behind !

Not sure what my next destination is going to be :) Something has to inspire me about the place, though the places you mentioned are already there in my list for the future!

" Into the Wild . By Jon Krakauer " - This is one of those book's that has had an everlasting impression on me. It was probably about a decade back when I first read it when my mum lent it out from the library. I had never heard or read about Christopher McCandless till then. It was really difficult to get a copy of the book those days, but my mum did surprise me with a copy of the book in the coming days,something I treasure till this day.
