Two Wheels -NICE Road

We took off early sunday morning on May 13th at 6:45a.m from IIMB and headed out .

The NICE road is just a kickass road with sidelanes where cyclists can drive comfortably. The view around is also nice with lakes, a couple of hillocks around.





Route :- IIMB on bannerghatta road -> meenakshi temple on bannerghatta road -> right turn to NICE -> keep going on NICE touching kanakpura road -> Another couple of kms on NICE from kanakpura road to Mysore road near Kengeri -> Kengeri -> breakfast at Iravatha before reaching R.V college -> R.V college -> outer ring road -> back home.

Distance - Total distance is approximately 50-60kms.

Time - 4 hours, plus a stopover(30mins) for breakfast.

Route Condition - Great roads all the way. NICE road is awesome with only 2 ups and several downs till you reach mysore road. Coming back this way is definitely gruesome.

Number of difficult ups - none till the end of NICE, some on mysore road, many on the outer ring road (the first one at its entrance being the most difficult one of the whole ride). I had a tough time on the way back on the ring road uphills !

It was probably about a decade back when I first read it when my mum lent it out from the library. I had never heard or read about Christopher McCandless till then.
